Who Is Schalene
Schalene is a graduate of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville with a B.A. in Mass Communications and a M.A. in Media Management from Webster University. She is a Christian, wife, daughter, niece, friend and so much more! She is also a proud member of the East St. Louis Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
What’s Her Motivation
Schalene has always loved the media. When she was a child she would watch the news with her mother every evening. Her favorite anchor was Clarice Tinsley from KDFW. Schalene aspired to be a reporter/news anchor. After completing her degree and entering the real world, she realized being on camera wasn’t her dream.. Instead, she found her passion in telling the stories of others, not only helping them to get their story told, but also heard. Schalene has dreamt of owning her own media company since 2014. As a producer, she has realized a need for passionate media specialists who can guide businesses and organizations in the right direction to strengthen their brand recognition. It is her goal to purposefully spread awareness for each of her clients.

Schalene Houston has 14 years of experience in the radio/television industry. Why should you work with Schalene? Not only does she have the education but she also has the experience to go along with it. She is passionate about what she does and nothing can top education and experience better than EXCITEMENT! Once Schalene takes on a project she feels passionate about and connected with, she is as excited about the project as if it were her own.
